Job Description

An ambitious Transport Planner at either Principal or Senior level is required to join our client’s regional office in West Yorkshire.

Candidates will be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant subject, and have extensive transport development planning experience. Good technical skills are needed, which should include managing and providing the technical input into transport assessments, travel plans, access strategies, etc.

A thorough understanding of contemporary transport policy and guidance documents is needed, together with experience of relevant transport planning software.

Effective technical writing skills including the ability to produce clear, precise and coherent analysis and reports, and an ability to communicate and present these to a range of audiences, is also required.
