Our client is looking to appoint a talented Senior Transport Planner to deliver transport planning advice to a broad range of clients. This is a tremendous career opening for a hard working individual, looking to join a successful consultancy offering good career progression prospects in the South West.

Ideally, you will have around four to eight years post graduate experience in a development planning related role, and will have proven success of liaising with public and private sector clients. The successful candidate will have good rounded experience of development projects from a technical and project management perspective. Key project work will involve transport assessments, transport statements, travel plans and access strategies, etc.

In addition to the usual MS applications, you should have experience of industry standard software packages such as Junctions 9 (ARCADY, PICADY), LinSig, TRANSYT, TRICS, etc.

Candidates should have a relevant degree. An M.Sc in addition is desirable, but not essential.
