An outstanding opportunity is now open with our client for an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their expanding development planning team in central London.
You should be degree qualified with at least 4 years solid experience in development planning (transport). Good technical skills are required for the inputs into Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Access Feasibility Studies, Transport Statements etc., and experience should have been gained in the use of operational assessment software such as Junctions 9 (ARCADY, PICADY), TRANSYT, LinSig, TRICS etc.
Whilst a private sector consultancy background is preferred, candidates with appropriate public sector experience in development planning/control, will also be seriously considered.
Good presentation and technical writing skills are required, and you should have the ability to manage your own projects to meet agreed deadlines.

The salary is negotiable, depending upon experience and qualifications, but is expected to be in the range of £40-45,000 p.a. In addition, the company will offer to the successful candidate benefits, which will include 27 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays), flexitime, paid overtime, annual bonus (expected minimum 10% of basic dependent on company and individual performance), generous pension contribution, and a paid-for overseas trip. The office dress code is relaxed.
